A Spring Walk & Picnic

Christina came up with a harness to pull her siblings in their carriage.
The weather was lovely, so we enjoyed it before it got cold.

Library Performance: Bremen Town Musicians

Bruka Theatre is always fun for the kids. They are full of energy and put on good performances.

Happy St. Patty's!!!!!!

Well, the leprechauns must have been up late, because they made quite the spread for us!
We are sooooo lucky!!

We listened to some Celtic music in the morning and I showed Eli and Ella some Irish dance. Ella was able to mimic the style quite well.... must get it from her dad.

The kids got a leprechaun buffet to choose items for lunch and snacks throughout the day:

Lucky Charms and Green Smoothies for breakfast

We made a gift for Eli's teacher because we're "extra" lucky to have her!!

Green tongues!! Eeeeew!!!

We did an Irish Potato bar at Papa's and he got SING for the kids. Such a great movie. It's the best ending our week and relaxing at Papa's!!!

Lucky!!! More like very blessed!!! So thankful to Heavenly Father for family and good times together!!

Spanish Springs Peak

First hike of the season, and boy was it gorgeous out!!
Heavenly Father loves us.
I'm always amazed at the miracles that surround us. It was a very muddy drive to get to the base of the hike and at one point I could feel the car getting stuck, however we were able to back up safely.... where I stopped and parked. When I got out I saw this huge rock that I hadn't ran over and popped the tire with. Such a blessing. I must have come within 1/2 an inch.

The weather was absolutely perfect. Not too hot, not too cold. The sun was shining and there was a slight breeze. Needless to say, Eli was in his glory. He was off running in no time flat. The amount of energy he has is staggering. Also, Ella was adamant about walking and did a great job. There is nothing like hearing a little voice say, "I need your hand to steady me."
How does a 3 year old know steady me?
And if only she knew how much her little hand steadies my soul.

The girls were feeling the burn of the first hike of season!
I think we only did about 4 miles total.

ELI = POWER HIKER!!!!!!!!!!!!

It would have been a lot easier, but the mud caught up to us. And then of course, everyone wanted to play in it.
Did I mention I had just washed my car too?
Fun times.
Hooray for washing machines!!! The shoes came out spotless!!

Eli prepared a backpack and took time to write down things he really loved.
The Trail
Water

The kids ended up building a dam in the stream/mud for about 25 minutes. Ella threw rocks.
They were completely happy.
I was happy watching them.
Creative little souls.
Good thing for showers!!

Famous and Fabulous- Amyra the brilliant

When Ram moved to New York I was so happy for her and her family. I knew that it would be a great experience and that they would have tons of new opportunities. Case in point: THEY MET ED SHEERAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ram got VIP tickets for the Today Show on NBC but they arrived a little late. Amyra was craning her neck and couldn't really see, but it was still cool. But then, a guy notices how cute she is and that she can't see.... AND OF COURSE!!!! offers her a better spot.
ON STAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So flipping awesome!!!!!!!!!!!
I was smiling all day thinking about this!!!!
Leprechauns rule!

RIDING A BIKE!!!!!

So many exciting things happening at our home!!

Eli has picked up riding a bike. We're working on steering, but he definitely has pedaling and speed down.
Good thing I work out.
Cause this bug is FAST. Oh my goodness.
Say no to curbs at certain speeds.

Keep it up buddy!! Today he planned to go to school and tell all his friends so they could meet at the park and ride together.
