My Sweet Reader

 

Maria at 9 Years Old is everything wonderful in this world.

 

She can often be found reading or playing math games online.

 

She wins the dreambox challenge in her class weekly, without failure.

She just moved up a level- yellow, in swimming.

 

She loves to run.

 

She is really tender and affectionate with her siblings.

 

She loves to be the very best she can be.

 

She thrives in school and is always the teacher's helper.

 

She is friendly and makes friends easily.

 

She is kind and patient and loving.

 

She is creative and fun and always willing to go out to try something new.

 

She is clean. She picks up without having me remind her.

 

She is always the first to do something I ask.

 

She is an excellent little piano player.

 

Did I mention she loves to read? She is a little addict.

She's reading the Harry Potter series for the 4th time now.

 

She loves to wear dresses, earrings, and lip gloss.

 

She never forgets to pray or read her scriptures.

 

I'm so grateful for this beautiful girl.

She makes my life so happy and fulfilling.

Beauty Brunch - Maria's 9th Birthday Party Spa Theme

 

 

Well, this little beauty is just that!! BEAUTIFUL!! We had a very pink party doing all things girly!!! It was a BLAST!!!

Thanks Papa for letting us use your home and daddy for bankrolling the fun.

 

 

We had a beauty bar where the girls got some favors to take home.

 

 

Since it was a brunch, Maria got a super size donut from Doughboy's.

 

 

We made body sugar scrubs and lip gloss.

 

 

Heaven are these little girls of mine.

 

And these spastic boys too!!!

 

So glad to have Tobi, master of nails take the helm creating works of art on the girls' hands. She needs to open her own salon she is so talented. She brought a ton of fun things for the girls to do like nail sticker art, body jewels, lip gloss... and lots of glitter polish!! Perfection!!! Yaya Sofia was on little duty, playing, reading and loving as she always does.

 

We played "blind makeover". It was a hit and the girls loved it!!!

 

We have the best group of little friends. They are the sweetest, most caring, most polite little bunch!!! So grateful for all of them!!!

 

Next it was on to facials, foot soaks, and manicures.

 

We did a honey, yogurt, and oatmeal mask. 

 

The food was yummy. Thanks Papa for plating and doing eggs.  Everything was just right and the girls ate a ton!!

 

Jody was in charge of the foot soaks. He made sure the temperatures were just right.... cozy and relaxing!!! He also was my last minute man for a couple details the night before.

Maria got a bunch of really thoughtful gifts. She really enjoyed the watch from Christina and the money from Papa and Yaya and the new tablet from Aunty Tobi!!! Talk about loved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Nancy also made her such a gorgeous blanket. It is perfect for the cold weather!!

 

We are so blessed. Thank you Heavenly Father for our sweet Maria, for all our children, for their friends too!! Thank you to all our family for all the help and love and support. Great memories are only possible because everyone chips in to do their part.
