Sept 8- Downtown Truckee and Serene Lakes

We had a free Sunday with amazing weather after church and decided to explore. We spent at least an hour at the Truckee Airport and it was quite busy due to the Davis fire by Galena. It is a great small airport with a playground! We explored some shops downtown and bought a couple books and toys. We then headed a little farther down towards Soda Springs and found the most gorgeous lakes. It was quite peaceful watching the sunset and then heading back and enjoying some yummy pizza! It was so beautiful to just be together. (Of course we missed our big girls though!!)

 

July 9- Pyramid lake Tuesdays

Lifelong friends and lifelong memories. Talking, discovering, thinking, enjoying, and enjoying a lake meant to heal. So grateful for our friends and their love.

 

July 8- A Shed is Built

The backyard continues to be an amazing project that the whole family is working on. Our shed is up and functional, giving us a place to organize our backyard supplies!

 

April 20- Ram's Bachelorette Party/Soak

We had a lovely time camping at Feather River Hot Springs. It was amazing weather and we were well prepared. Jody knew I was stressed about the food and got me a gift card to Whole Foods. That was a good choice. We ate well.... maybe a little too well! It was great to hike together to a neighboring town, talk, and take in the beauty of this world. There was quite the surprise and Ramya had a wedding ceremony in lobster onesies!! It was very heartfelt and I wish her all the joy and happiness in life, she out of anyone I know deserves it so much.
