Library Fun

 

Our library has a fun photo booth where the kids can dress up and use props and select a background. They are very entertaining in their choices!!

I have never taken Eli and Ella to feed the ducks. How silly I thought!!

And then we got there and I remembered....

 

Fortunately Eli wasn't scared at all. But there were A LOT of birds!! Hungry birds! Swarming birds! Birds with no sense of personal space AT ALL.

 

We tossed all our bread and headed to the park. It was supposed to snow and rain today.

So grateful for this time with my little ones.

Getting Our Nails Done

 

Ella was very excited to get her nails done. She sat still and smiled the whole time. Someone loves pink!!

Making PB&J

 

The little chef! Since he learned how to make these peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, he's been requesting to do so daily!

Hoo... Hoo.... was in our backyard today? This fellow!

 

I was washing dishes and saw this guy in our trees. He was big!!!

Very exciting to see an owl up close, but of course, not too close.

The kids were in awe.

Maria and Anna worked on this gift that Papa and Aunty Tobi had gotten the girls for Christmas! Turned out great!! Super patience!

It was the last day to see the Tahoe exhibit and was completely packed!

We made tambourines and maracas.

 

Our stone man looked like he had a "snow accident".

Sleepover at Yaya Sofia's

 

It's not quite the same going to my Yaya's and not having my mom there.

Yaya has cranked up the heat and her house is perfectly cozy in the winter. We were so glad to get to come for dinner (egg sandwiches) and spend the night. It was very comfortable and we watched a few episodes of Chopped Jr. and some baking show featuring children.

 

But the best part was of course, just being around our Yaya.

She is so wonderful. She is such a joy and ray of sunshine to be around.

I loved Ella waking up in the morning and running to her to give her a hug!!

Legos!!!! Best way to start of 2016!!
