Trunk or Treat- I love St. Luke's!

I love our local Lutheran church. They do really well organized events!! And there aren't too many people, so it's just right!

Plus, free dinner! (Hot dogs... the kids were happy)

Plenty of candy, line moved quickly, and the trunks were really fun!!

Zombie Crawl

It was cold outside!

We enjoyed a nice dinner together, ice cream, and dancing.

Plus some pie too!!

We saw some very interesting characters. God bless Reno.

Carving Pumpkins- All by ourselves!!

I was getting ready for a date with Jody and the kids carved their pumpkins all by themselves!!!

It was awesome!!! They are pros!!

Red Hawk Trick or Treat Bust

It's never fun to get your hopes up and then have them dashed.
But this event was just way too many people.
We stood in line for 10 minutes and then decided that getting 3 gallons of ice cream and making banana splits would be way better.

Never again.

Moon Maze- 1st Cardboard Carnival a Success!

Tonight was soul happiness. I love kids.

Sure, I have to deal with 1st graders who say the f word on a weekly basis... but they are hoodtastic and I love them more than words could say.

The kids wanted a maze and I like integrating... so a moon maze it was!!

Did I end up giving 60 rides in a cardboard spaceship?? Yes. Yes I did.
And I'm completely ready to pass out after editing photos and sending them to print.

Not to mention a full day of teaching and 26 parent-teacher conferences in the book.

The kiddos worked so hard. As we were listening to kidzbop Cardi B... I truly was just so happy to be there with them at that moment.

26 was too many, but 16 is perfect.
Especially the 16 little badasses I have.

And of course, Christina and Maria's help was very much appreciated. They were wonderful to volunteer and everyone was elated with all they did.

I'm ready for bed too Nina.

Maria has fun too!

We love our besties!! And Maria recently did a color run at school with friends too. She had a blast. Middle School is turning out to be a great experience for her!!

Homecoming $5

Rockin' that thrift shop dress.

Where has time gone and how do I find myself with this drop dead gorgeous daughter that is quite the amazing young woman?

She is amazing, inside and out.

Homecoming was boring BTW.

And she's joining the bowling team at school.
She's so freaking cool.

Pumpkin Picking Time

After a lovely Sunday lunch at Papa's with caramel apples for dessert, we headed to our cheap-o pumpkin patch!

The pumpkins and called and chose a child.
They are waiting to be carved.

Oh how we love the fall!!

8 Years Old

I wanted to do a photoshoot for his baptism.

Enjoying the fall colors

I forgot how lovely it is to spend time with Jody.
I almost don't want to enjoy it because I'm so scarred from the PhD.

We had a nice walk and time at the park with Daddy pushing on the swing.
The girls did a photo shoot.
And then kids were arguing in the car on the drive home so we kicked them all out and they walked home.
